Tools
There are a number of tools available to players in Degen Islands.
All players will have a basic pickaxe that can be used to mine anything on the island. By combining materials, it is possible for a user to craft additional tools, including axes with greater performance.
Examples of tools include:
- Oak Pickaxe - upgrade from the basic axe using oak planks and steel
- Hoe - to till dirt and grass blocks into farmland, as well as to harvest certain plant-based blocks quickly
The following is an example of a crafted axe compared to the basic version.

Crafted tools can then be stored in the players inventory or traded on the Degen Islands Marketplace.
